BOaCS3Ep4 – Slow news week

Alright. Here’s Episode 4. On time again. I think I’m starting to get the hang of this again. And so is Ben. It used to take forever to get him to find time to record, and then having him transcribe the shownotes was always like pulling teeth. It’s good that we have an actual schedule now. I’ll keep this news post short. I’m starting to go into a food coma. As the episode title suggests. It was a slow news week. I didn’t really have much to talk about but I wanted to put an episode out. I still think the show turned out good anyway. Hopefully something interesting will happen next week so that I have something I can bitch about.

Also, November is right around the corner. That means it’s almost time for NaNoWriMo. I’ll be participating in it again this year. BOaCS3Ep3- Season Opener

After two weeks of interviews we bring you the season opener. It ran a bit long but that’s to be expected of the first show we’ve recorded in almost a year. Most shows will usually run abour 45 minutes long after this unless it’s another special episode or an interview. The downside is that my server makes a MASSIVE amount of noise. I don’t notice it anymore but I don’t yet know how it will affect your listening experience. I try to scrub this out in post production but whatever tricks I’ve used make it sound worse at the end so it’s just something that’s going to be there until I can find some method of sound proofing to eliminate this background noise while recording. In regards to the archives

Ben and I will be recording the season opener today. Pretty good topic list lined up. That will post on Monday as per usual, I just wanted to take a brief amount of time to talk about the archives which will also be explained at length in the upcoming season opener.

as you probably already know by now my file hosts for the last two seasons took a dive which is what sparked the months of technical difficulties to begin with. And as a result all the episodes from the last two seasons died.

To make a long story short I’ll upload all the past episodes to the new file host and then create another page on the side bar for the archives. This is a project I’ll begin starting next week after the season opener hits the feed and hopefully it will only take a week.

This is the second part of my interview with Dan Sawyer of Down From Ten and the Antithesis Progression. Our season opener will hit the feed by next week and if I can’t seem to get either one of my regular hosts behind the microphone I’ll either go solo or find a guest host. BOaCS3Ep1: An interview with Dan Sawer of the Antithesis Progression (Part 1 of 2)

Yes boys and girls, that’s right! We’re back, for reals this time, look I even have an episode to prove it. The first two episodes of this season will be the interview with Dan Sawyer, our actual season opener will be the third episode. The reasoning behind this well be explained in the after banter at the end of the show. And because this is an interview there will be no show notes for the episode but the non-interview shows will have show notes and you can expect everything that you heard from last season plus some improvements, minus some delays. It’s been a long day for me and I can’t think of anything else that I need to say, enjoy the first part of the interview and I’ll see you next week.
