Happy new year! I hope you all had great holidays and parties.
Just wanted to let you all know that I have a whole massive pile of extra audio
content for the hiatus. I’ve got our season finale, and then I have interviews with several podcasters that I’ll post during the coming months. And after I’ve gotten all of those edited Me and some of my friends, cohosts, and a few podcasters might sit down and record some round table discussions or debates of some kind. I’m looking forward to doing that.
That’s all I had to say, keep your eyes posted on this blog and the feed in the coming months while we get ready for season four.

I’ve been busy with thanksgiving and family and friends moving in for the last two weeks, so no show.
Now:
Kyle had his internet cut off don’t know when he’ll be back online. Ben doesn’t take anything seriously so I can’t count on him. And I feel like the show isn’t interesting enough with just myself behind the mic. So, I guess I’ll see you next hear. (Hopefully.)
Here be the promo I was talking about for the last couple of weeks. Listen to it for all the details, one to post tomorrow as well. And probably the day after that, and the one after that two. Got to get all these things out thank to my nemesis and his delay in getting me the lines.
I’ll have to appologize for this one. I knew that this one needed editing but, meeting NaNoWriMo goals got in the way of that as well as some personal issues that I’ve been trying to work through. The show hasn’t been edited and I’m sorry. The season is coming to a close sometime in December, I haven’t decided when yet. I’ll try to make this show as awesome as I can for the rest of the season and find ways to overhaul and improve it for next season. That’s really all I have to say now, I’m off to bed.
From what I gathered from my Twitter feed over the weekend, everybody seems to be talking about the ACTA and how everybody seems pissed off by it. It would also seem that for once I got on the band wagon early because my cohosts and I discussed this in the middle of last week while we were recording the snow. There were a few other things we talked about but it seems that this is the one that people are the most concerned about, it makes me think that the segment concerning the ACTA should have been bumped up a couple of slots to the feature instead of the WTF of the week. I could use this space to discuss the ACTA at further length, but I feel there is nothing more I can say on the matter that hasn’t already been said. That and today has me feeling a bit tired.
I may or may not make this whole matter next weeks feature to shed some more light on it if people are still talking about it next week when I record. I agree, it is an important matter, but I won’t give said matter any more coverage if the short attention span of the average internet user and podcast listener has found something else to be concerned about.
I could also use this space to talk about NaNoWriMo, but after the first week I’m sure those of you who aren’t participating are tired of hearing about it. So if you care to see how I’m faring I encourage you to visit my writer blog
I hope you enjoy this weeks show, we’ll see you next week.
Here we go ladies and gentlemen. Would have had this promo A LOT sooner but it took a while to get Kyle’s line.
Take this promo send it to everyone you know, send it to your favorite podcast. Alternatively if you have your own podcast you’re more than welcome to put this on your show, I’ll play your promo in exchange.
This week we covered some interesting topics, but what I’d like to focus on is our feature. I talked with Scott Roche about NaNoWriMo at length and we discussed some of the main pitfalls that writers face from a domestic standpoint, as well as some problems you’ll face as a novice writer, as well as distractions posed by the internet. We then offer ways that each of these problems can be solved. Keep your eyes on the feed over the next week for the promo for the show as well as something a little extra.
This is the audio part to the essay that I posted on Drawing a Blank. This is also a preemptive apology. You see, Ben, has had tomorrows episode since last night and he chose to go to bed early today instead of doing the show notes. There’s really nothing I can do if he won’t be responsible. I don’t think beating him will work. Either way here is the audio recording of the essay. I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to call in and leave feedback. The Show will be posted in a few hours.
